On February 26, the Ukrainian-German meeting - conference "Hospital Partnerships between Ukraine and Germany: Sustainability, Recovery, EU Accession" of the participants of hospital partnerships began in Berlin.
In 2023, the network of Ukrainian-German health partnerships grew significantly. Communities of 50 Ukrainian and 28 German hospitals and non-governmental organizations joined the cooperation.
Poltava Oblast, the project "Partnership between Hospitals - Partners Strengthen Health" in cooperation between Altmühlseeklinik Hensoltshöhe (Germany) and Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital named after M.V. Sklifosovsky (Ukraine) is represented by Viktor Lysak, Director of the Health Department of the Poltava Regional State Administration, and Hryhoriy Oksak, Chief Physician of the hospital.
The project leaders Dr. Friedbert Herm and Bela Hans Kaunzinger represent the team of friends and partners of the Altmühlseeklinik.
A stand with information about the work of the project in Poltava was presented at the conference.
The project leaders met with Ms Maryna Slobodnichenko, Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine for European Integration.
The conference will be continued on February 27. Many strategic issues of cooperation and support for the Ukrainian health sector will be decided.
