We continue to get acquainted with the work of the rehabilitation team of the Rehabilitation Medicine Center of the Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital named after M.V. Sklifosovsky.
Yulia Palonka, a physician of physical and rehabilitation medicine, has already told us about the work of the department and today she will introduce us to her patients. In the gym, physiotherapist Roman Lytvynov and assistant physiotherapist Taras Kabluka are helping patients to exercise.
Let's meet the patient:
- Good morning! Tell us how you came to this department, how is your treatment going?
- Good morning. My name is Natalia. Six months ago I had a cruciate ligament implant placed on a titanium plate. Due to a severe postoperative condition, my knee does not fully extend or bend. I turned to our rehabilitation center, to the dear Yulia Volodymyrivna Palonka. She prescribed a course of treatment, which was started by the remarkable physiotherapist Roman Lytvynov.
At that time my knee was treated manually, because there was no equipment to help me. But when I was admitted to the hospital for the second time, the department received new simulators, thanks to which I have every chance of getting back on my feet.
Today my rehabilitation therapist is Taras Sergiyovych Kabluka, and under the close supervision of Roman Oleksandrovych we are developing the knee on the Arthromot. Thanks to this device we will see positive dynamics. I would like to note that each simulator in this department is very important for us, the patients. I would like to thank all the organizations of these countries that help us to return to normal life.
- We wish all patients a quick and maximum recovery!
We thank the medical team for taking care of the health of Ukrainians.
We thank our friends from Germany for the rehabilitation equipment!
