Today we are going to talk to our defender, the soldier Oleksiy, who is undergoing rehabilitation treatment in the Rehabilitation Medical Center of the Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital named after M.V. Sklifosovsky:
Vitaliy Shevchenko: Good morning, Mr. Oleksiy. Could you please tell us how you came to this hospital?
Oleksiy: Good morning. I am a soldier, I was in the war, I was on the front line, I was running through the trenches, it was hard, my back gave out, I was hospitalized.
Vitaliy Shevchenko: Are you currently being treated for an injury or illness?
Oleksiy: I was injured before the war, but physical activity affected my spine and "finished me off".
Roman Lytvynov, physiotherapist at the center: An individual rehabilitation plan was developed for Oleksiy. Taking into account his pathology, we train the muscles of the back and lower extremities.
Vitaliy Shevchenko: You are in a rehabilitation center with all the necessary equipment and excellent specialists. What improves you personally, what suits you, how do you see the result of the team's work?
Oleksiy: The result is very good - walking has become easier, there is less "shooting" in the spine. Everyone is doing a great job. We spend more than three hours a day in the team, I've been under treatment for almost two weeks now and I hope that in the next week I will recover my health as much as possible.
Vitaliy Shevchenko: Do you have any wishes for the team?
Oleksiy: I wish that they would continue to work at the same pace and put our Ukrainians back on their feet.
Vitaliy Shevchenko: Thank you for your service, we wish you a speedy recovery!
We thank the Center's team for restoring the health of Ukrainians!
We thank our friends from Germany for the equipment provided!
