The war has led to a significant rise in cases of acute surgical and traumatic pathology, as well as post-operative and injury recovery.
Rehabilitation is a crucial aspect of medical care for patients in hospitals. Our hospital prioritizes this issue as it is both strategic and political. Patients requiring long and repeated rehabilitation periods include military and wounded patients, as well as those who have suffered strokes or heart attacks.
Our hospital has two rehabilitation departments: the adult rehabilitation center and the children's rehabilitation center named 'Palm of Goodness'. Furthermore, the Veteran Center, previously a hospital for disabled veterans, is currently undergoing major renovations to become a modern 50-bed rehabilitation center equipped with the latest equipment.
Patients have the right to the best qualified medical, rehabilitation and psychological care and to stay in comfortable conditions. Therefore, one of the tasks of the administration is to improve the material and technical base of the hospital and to provide professional staff.
Of course, we always ask both donors and authorities to provide these rehabilitation units with modern rehabilitation equipment, means for rehabilitation and care of these patients.
I would like to thank the regional authorities for the fact that last year we were able to provide the rehabilitation unit with modern equipment, and I would like to thank the donors for the modern beds. Functional beds are indispensable for this category of patients. We hope for further cooperation with all our friends, donors and benefactors, support and understanding for the sake of Ukraine and our victory.
- I hope that Poltava Oblast and the Oblast Hospital will undoubtedly continue to serve as a model for introducing the latest technologies in the medical sector, implementing new ideas, examination methods, and medical care. The hospital staff deserves our sincere gratitude for their work on behalf of all the patients who have been saved.
