A meeting with Roman Lytvynov, physical therapist at the Center for Rehabilitation Medicine of the Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital named after M.V. Sklifosovsky.

- Mr. Roman, what is the role of physiotherapy in rehabilitation?

- In today's reality, physical therapy is one of the most important tools for restoring mobility. It includes examination, study, assessment, diagnosis, prognosis and planning of care and re-examination. After all, there are diseases that cannot be cured, but the state of health can be significantly improved so that a person can feel more comfortable in society and lead a more fulfilling life. We analyzed the changes in the patient's condition according to the ICF. Now we are also supported by the Iso-Check automatic isokinetic force measuring system, which was provided to the rehabilitation center by our friends - partners Altmühlseeklinik Hensoltshöhe (Germany) within the framework of the project "Hospital Partnerships - partners strengthen health".

This equipment enables the rehabilitation team to analyze the results of rehabilitation in more detail in accordance with the initial examination and the prescribed individual rehabilitation plan and to follow the changes in muscle tone in each muscle group during the treatment. While we were installing the equipment, the Poltava Academic Symphony Orchestra visited the Center and gave a small concert for our Defenders.

We thank our Defenders for every morning on Ukrainian soil!

Thank you artists for moments of joy!

We thank the medical team for restoring the health of Ukrainians.

Thank you to our friends from Germany for their help!
