On November 13th, 2023, the third lecture of the series on rehabilitation medicine, titled 'Burnout of healthcare professionals' was presented by Dr. Joachim Schnürle, the deputy chief physician of Altmühlseeklinik Hensoltshöhe (Germany), as part of the joint German-Ukrainian project 'Partnership between hospitals - partners strengthen health' in collaboration with Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital named after M.V. Sklifosovskyi (Ukraine).
Until 2014, the author served as the chief physician of the internal department of an acute hospital. He specializes in internal medicine, with core competencies in cardiology and gastroenterology diagnostics, diabetes counseling, and COPD education. Additionally, he is responsible for Cardiac Intensive Care and jointly responsible for the Multidisciplinary Oncology Conference. The author also holds an additional medical qualification in psychotherapy. Thanks to his expertise, he is involved in the field of psychosomatic and oncological diseases. He is authorized to improve the qualifications of physicians.
The lecture was led by Svitlana Kaunzinger, a social pedagogue, experienced social worker and native speaker, who carried out the translation.
