We continue to acquaint ourselves with the work of the rehabilitation team of the Rehabilitation Medicine Center of the Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital named after M.V. Sklifosovsky.
Olena Khakhuza, a physiotherapist's assistant, helps patients in the gym.
A patient is exercising on the machines and we see a familiar face.
- "Good morning! We met at the center a few months ago. How is your recovery and treatment going?
- Tamila: Good afternoon! My name is Tamila, I'm 56 years old, and I've come back to the Rehabilitation Center of the Poltava Regional Hospital named after M.V. Sklifosovsky. A year ago I suffered a shoulder injury, a torn rotator cuff. At the end of September I underwent an operation and plastic surgery of the shoulder joint. The first course of rehabilitation gave very good results, thanks to the skill and perseverance of my assistant physiotherapist Olena Ivanovna, and we were on the way to 80% recovery, but this is not enough, because I am a military medic, the chief medical officer of a military unit, and I need a full restoration of the shoulder joint to work in a military unit. That's why I applied again, we have been working for 2 weeks, the results are very good thanks to the equipment and thanks to the program that was made for me, we are getting good results and I hope that after the end of the rehabilitation I will fully return to my duties in the military service.
I am grateful to my colleagues for my recovery!
- Thank you for your work, as you are also helping to save our Defenders. We wish you a quick recovery! I would like to thank the staff of the Center for rehabilitation medicine for their effective work in restoring the health of Ukrainians and wish them new successes and achievements! And I wish all patients of the center a speedy recovery!
