On October 25, 2023, the Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital received humanitarian aid from the joint German-Ukrainian project 'Partnership between hospitals - partners strengthen health' in cooperation with Altmühlseeklinik Hensoltshöhe (Germany) and M. The charitable organization 'Hospital Fund of Poltava region' transferred 29 second-hand functional medical beds from Altmühlseeklinik to the regional hospital. Additionally, the hospital received 30 mattresses, 30 mattress toppers, 29 support holders (elevator), and 29 grab handles to assist patients in getting out of bed. The equipment has been distributed among the hospital's departments. The German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH is implementing the project. The project is commissioned and funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The Rehabilitation Medicine Center will soon receive the latest rehabilitation equipment worth 100,000 euros and 30 functional medical beds, bedside tables, and ward cabinets worth 50,000 euros.

Additionally, German physicians will hold lectures on rehabilitation medicine as part of the project. The initial lectures took place on September 28th and October 23rd. They are available for viewing on the YouTube channel of the 'Hospital Fund of the Poltava Region', where future lectures will also be posted. Presently, 89 students from 12 medical institutions are participating in the online lectures.
