Good afternoon. Could you please tell us how your treatment is going?
Good morning. I am Viktor Pavlovich Shkurpela, a participant in the Chernobyl liquidation, a group 2 handicapped person, a regular patient of the regional hospital.
At present I have problems with my knee joints. The right knee joint is to be replaced, and then maybe the left one. At the moment, the doctors have suggested that I undergo rehabilitation and maybe we can slow down the progression of the disease and postpone the operation. I've had consultations with great specialists, I'm working out on great exercise equipment, which is plentiful here. I have just started training and I hope that everything will be fine. And I will be able to walk and visit my friends.
I thank the wonderful team for their attention to patients and help. I wish you development for the benefit of Ukrainians!
- I thank the staff of the department for training young specialists, the staff of the Center of rehabilitation medicine for their work and I wish them new successes and achievements! And I wish all patients of the Center of rehabilitation medicine a speedy recovery!
