We continue our meetings with the team of the Rehabilitation Medicine Center of the Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital named after M.V. Sklifosovsky.
Ilya Volodchenko, a physiotherapist's assistant, works with the patient and helps her with her exercises.
We ask the patient about the success of the recovery and rehabilitation process.
- Zinaida: Good morning. My name is Zinaida, I am 71 years old. I had a stroke on January 15.
I had sudden weakness in my legs, impaired movement in my legs and arms, especially in my hand.
During my stay at the center, my muscle strength improved and my movements began to recover. My speech has improved a little because a speech therapist is working with me. I work on exercise machines, on a balance beam, and I attend occupational therapy sessions.
Ilya Volodchenko, a physiotherapist's assistant, works with me - he is a wonderful specialist. I am very satisfied with the quality of rehabilitation. I sincerely thank the staff of the center for their attention to patients, for their humanity and excellent attitude, for their work and our restored health.
I am very grateful to the international partners for the equipment provided and the opportunity to undergo full rehabilitation.
