According to the results of the Ukrainian-German Conference "Hospital Partnerships between Ukraine and Germany, Sustainability, Recovery, EU Accession" in Berlin - where the Chief Physician Hryhorii Oksak represented the Poltava Regional Clinical Hospital named after M.V. Sklifosovsky" - the hospital partnership with Altmühlseeklinik Hensoltshöhe will be continued within the framework of the project "Partnership between hospitals - partners strengthen health". Besides the existing cooperation with the main hospital of Poltava region, the Poltava region is planned to be included in a new funding program from GIZ!
The new priorities of the partnership include the provision of humanitarian aid in the form of medicines that are not provided for by public procurement but are very important for patients, as well as training and internships for medical professionals to master modern evidence-based rehabilitation approaches used in German medical facilities.
Also during the conference, Viktor LYSAK, Director of the Health Care Department of the Poltava Regional State Administration, and Bela Hans KAUNZINGER, Project Manager and representative of the partners, talked with members of the German Bundestag about cooperation and assistance to the health care sector of Ukraine.
